Community Council 2.0 – Open Applications Now Live!
We’re opening up individual applications. (Please submit your applications as a reply to this topic!)
From these, we will propose 4 members to form the new council responsible for governance, community growth, and protocol integrity.
The proposed council will then be voted on and approved by the community.
Thank you to the first Community Council for doing an amazing job and helping us learn and refine this process.

Core Responsibilities
Governance Duties
• Review Proposals – Verify proposals before they go to a vote to ensure quality and alignment with community interests.
• Discuss Proposals – Engage with the community to gather feedback on proposals, clearly explain their purpose and impact, and respond to questions or concerns raised in discussions.
• Handle Disputes – Serve as an appeals body for resolving governance-related issues.
• Emergency Powers – Take swift action during critical situations to maintain protocol stability.
Social Responsibilities
• Participate in online discussions
• Educate the community about proposals and DAO functions
• Gather feedback from the broader community
• Educate the community about SuiNS
• Represent the DAO on X spaces
• Be on the lookout for partnerships and potential collabs
This is a hands-on role that requires active participation and presence in DAO discussions.
Community Council Code of Conduct & Responsibilities
This Code of Conduct ensures that Community Council members represent the community’s values, foster trust, and support sustainable governance and long-term DAO growth.
Uphold a Positive Reputation
• Maintain respectful, professional, and constructive communication at all times.
• Offensive, harmful, or disrespectful behavior is strictly prohibited.
Transparency and Integrity
• Clearly disclose any conflicts of interest or personal stakes when participating in decisions, proposals, or discussions.
• Avoid unethical practices, including but not limited to:
- Manipulating voting processes
- Promoting self-serving agendas
- Engaging in divisive behavior
Compensation & Commitment
• $1,000/month per council member
• Council members will serve a 3-month term.
• Paid at the end of each month from the DAO treasury
• KYC required upon selection
• NDA & Agreement must be signed to confirm responsibilities
• Death will be the 5th member of the Council, who will not receive payment, but will have veto rights to block proposals that are clearly harmful or unreasonable.
