SuiNS Community Council 2.0 Application

My Socials:
Discord: ngbes
Twitter/X: @Iam_Ngbede
Telegram: O_Ngbede

My Past Community Involvement:
As the Community Manager for Sui on Campus, I’ve spent the last year building and nurturing a global student-driven initiative to promote Web3 innovation on the Sui blockchain. My work has focused on connecting students, educators, and enthusiasts to foster education, collaboration, and practical projects like Payfrica. I’ve organized hackathons and community events, driving engagement through creative campaigns. My efforts have turned university campuses into hubs for blockchain innovation, with active student clubs and the Builders Room community. I’ve also engaged with the Sui ecosystem by promoting tools like Slush Wallet, demonstrating my commitment to community growth and ecosystem development.

My Vision
What I Bring to the Council:
I bring a proven track record of community leadership, strategic engagement, and a deep understanding of the Sui ecosystem. My experience in mobilizing diverse groups—students, faculty, and Web3 enthusiasts—equips me to foster inclusive discussions and drive consensus within the SuiNS DAO. I’m passionate about empowering community voices, ensuring transparency, and aligning governance with the long-term vision of SuiNS as a leading decentralized naming service. My hands-on approach, honed through managing Sui on Campus, ensures I can effectively review proposals, resolve disputes, and represent SuiNS in public forums like X Spaces and IRL events.

Impact I Aim to Have:
My goal is to strengthen the SuiNS DAO by amplifying community participation and ensuring governance decisions reflect the collective vision. I aim to enhance education around SuiNS, making it accessible to non-technical users, and to forge strategic partnerships that expand the protocol’s reach. By leveraging my experience in community-driven initiatives, I’ll work to make SuiNS a model for decentralized governance, fostering trust and innovation.

Skills & Gaps
Strengths:
Community Engagement: Skilled at designing interactive campaigns that boost participation and excitement, as seen in my work with Sui on Campus.

Communication: Adept at translating complex blockchain concepts into clear, accessible content for diverse audiences, from students to developers.

Governance Insight: Experienced in facilitating discussions and gathering feedback, ensuring fair and inclusive decision-making processes.

Ecosystem Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Sui’s tools, projects like Slush Wallet, Walrus, and community dynamics, enabling me to align proposals with protocol goals.

Weaknesses:
Technical Depth: While I understand blockchain fundamentals and Sui’s architecture, I’m not a developer. I rely on collaboration with technical experts to evaluate highly complex proposals, which I see as an opportunity to bridge technical and non-technical perspectives.

Time Management: Juggling multiple community initiatives can be demanding. I mitigate this by prioritizing tasks and leveraging tools like project management software to stay organized. Self-awareness allows me to seek support when needed and focus on my strengths in community building and governance.

DAO Involvement
Duration with SuiNS: I’ve been actively involved in the Sui ecosystem for almost two years, with a focus on SuiNS-related initiatives as part of my Sui on Campus role.

SuiNS Name: I own a SuiNS name, reflecting my personal investment in the protocol’s success.

My Past Contributions: Beyond leading Sui on Campus, I’ve contributed to SuiNS by promoting its adoption through campus events, engaging with community members, and providing feedback on proposals to enhance user experience. My work on Sui Mail’s shortlist for Sui Overflow 2025 and my engagement with projects demonstrate my commitment to advancing the SuiNS ecosystem.

Links: Follow @SuiOnCampus on X for examples of my community initiatives or DM me for specific highlights.

I’m excited to bring my passion, experience, and community-driven mindset to the SuiNS Community Council 2.0. I’m committed to upholding the Code of Conduct, maintaining transparency, and driving sustainable growth for the DAO.

Application for SuiNS Community Council 2.0
By: Fortified (Breakforth Isaac)
sui name: fortified.sui

gm,

I’m Fortified many of you might already know me from my work as the Marketing Lead for Sui On Campus. I’ve been deep in this ecosystem for over a year, especially focused on pushing Sui and SuiNS adoption across Nigeria and Africa. We’ve hosted tons of IRL events, campus tours, dev meetups, and online spaces all built to onboard the next wave of Sui users and builders.

I’ve proudly held a SuiNS name for over 6 months, and I’m always talking about how important on chain identity is for the future of Web3. SuiNS isn’t just a name it’s your digital passport. I want more people to understand that.

What I’ll Bring to the Council

• On-ground connection: I talk to users, builders, and devs daily. I know what they care about and what’s confusing them.
• Community education: I break things down. From governance to naming conventions, I know how to explain SuiNS in a way people get.
• Presence: I’m always online or in the field hosting Spaces, speaking at meetups, or pushing our ecosystem on socials.

My vision is simple:
I want SuiNS to be one of the most recognized digital ID systems in Web3 and I’ll do the work to make sure it’s understood, trusted, and adopted globally, starting from the ground up.

Strengths & Self-Awareness

Strengths:
• Real-world community building
• Public speaking and campaign marketing
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in a simple way
• Hosting and moderating online spaces

Growth Areas:
I’m not a dev (yet), but I work hand-in-hand with builders every day. I know how to bridge the gap between tech and the people using it.

My DAO Involvement

• Been part of the SuiNS movement for 6+ months
• I hold and actively use my sui name
• I’ve led Sui ecosystem events in over 12 Nigerian universities
• Consistently active in discussions, X Spaces, and onboarding new users
• Promoted SuiNS in my offline campaigns and helped many users register names

A Few Extras

• Twitter: @breakforth1998
• Telegram: @breakforth • Discord: Fortified
• SuiOnCampus highlights: check our X Spaces, threads, and events

Thanks for reading. I’m not just applying for a seat I’m here to serve. I’ve been doing the work, and I’ll keep showing up for the community every day. Let’s make this next phase of SuiNS something special.

I will help more people discover and use SuiNS, and make sure it feels like something they want to be part of.

Skills & Gaps

Strengths:

I’m good at B2C growth — acquisition, retention, monetization. Fast with testing ideas and getting results. Launched and sold several of my own apps.

Weaknesses:

Working on better delegation and process. I don’t code but work well with devs.

Self-awareness:

I know where I bring value — product, growth, numbers. I stay out of deep tech or politics. I focus on shipping.

Application for SuiNS Community Council 2.0

Socials:

Past Community Involvement:
I am primarily a developer and active contributor within the Move and broader Web3 ecosystem. I built Binstep, a trading bot on the Move stack. I’m currently leading the development of Walpress, a decentralized site builder powered by Walrus, which allows users to deploy fully on-chain websites and integrates SuiNS for domain registration and identity management.

Through Walpress, I’ve made it easier for everyday users to adopt SuiNS names as their digital identity, which I believe is crucial for broad adoption of on-chain infrastructure.

What will you bring to the council?
I bring a hands-on, execution-focused mindset backed by technical proficiency and a deep understanding of developer workflows. I can contribute to protocol decisions and provide practical feedback from the perspective of both a builder and end-user. I’m also able to communicate and distill complex technical concepts clearly to the broader community.

What impact do you aim to have?
My goal is to help position SuiNS as a default identity layer within the Sui ecosystem and beyond. I want to bridge the gap between developer needs and community growth, pushing forward initiatives that encourage innovative SuiNS use cases from decentralized blogging to identity-anchored social layers. Ultimately, I want to help drive mass adoption by making SuiNS easy, useful, and desirable to interact with.

Strengths:

  • Technical background in Move and Sui development
  • Ability to ship usable products that onboard real users
  • Content creation through articles, documentation, and public blogging
  • Deep knowledge of the ecosystem’s tooling and protocols

Weaknesses:

  • I tend to stutter in real-time verbal communication, especially in larger group settings. I compensate for this by being highly responsive in writing and through async channels, where I can communicate clearly and concisely.

Self-awareness:
I understand my communication challenges and actively work around them by leaning into written communication and over-delivering through execution. I’m continuously improving how I translate technical insights into actionable ideas for the community.

How long have you been part of SuiNS?
I’ve been aware of SuiNS since its early days, but began actively building around it in March with the launch of Walrus, incorporating it into tools that support identity and content ownership.

Do you hold $NS / own a SuiNS name?
Yes, I own multiple SuiNS names, including binstep.sui, blobstack.sui, walpanel.sui, and flarcos.sui, which I actively use for publishing my blog at https://flarcos.wal.app/.

Past Contributions to the Community:

  • Built and deployed Walpress, which enables domain registration with SuiNS directly within the website-building workflow
  • Authored tutorials and content to help new users understand how to get started with SuiNS
  • Actively using and promoting SuiNS in live applications like flarcos.wal.app and binstep.wal.app

• Past community involvement:
As a member of the 1st term SuiNS Council, my team has had many posts about all the features of SuiNS, but the AMA session is to update on what SuiNS is doing. We also have an IRL event at Suihub Vietnam. We also answer questions and listen to users about domain and SuiNS in all Sui-eco discords such as: Sui, Studio Mirai, Pawtato, Cetus, Navi,…

I am also a Mod for SuiVietnam Community, one of the most active communities in Sui. Built from the early days, and now we have become a strong community in Sui

What will you bring to the council?

  • As an experienced person who has worked with the SuiNS team, I think I will listen and filter opinions from the community and bring to the team leader the most useful contributions to help SuiNS develop stronger in the future. And vice versa, bring the fastest updated information from the SuiNS team to the community. Resolve any problems and grievances if any.

What impact do you aim to have?

  • The first thing I want to focus on is the core features of the project. Hopefully, we can complete the Buyback and Burn feature, the Staking feature. And all the features mentioned in the SuiNS RFP Selection, such as: Profile, Social Network, First-party Auction Service, Community,…
And when the team completes all the core features, I think the price will have a good fluctuation. Users will trust and use the project more.

Skills & Gaps
Strengths:

  • Have experience working with the community and understand what the community wants
  • Understand the Sui ecosystem and especially SuiNS
  • Have worked with the SuiNS lead team
  • Have a strong community support

DAO Involvement

  • I learned about and joined SuiNS 2 years ago, and also received a small gift from the project as an airdrop.
  • I have a lot of NS in my bag and many special domains like: 246.sui
    • Past contributions to the community
  • More than 50 posts related to SuiNS on X about: All features, update information, event, user manual,…
  • A lot of AMA with Team Council
  • Finish 1 proposal voting, topic: Buyback and Burn
  • Organized minigames and giveaways, attracting hundreds of participants.

Supporting Info: I’m currently:

  • Mod/Admin of the Sudo/Zo project

Background

My journey with SuiNS began in Oct 2022, evolving from active observer to vocal contributor under @Eastender_irl on Twitter and Glencorse(xoxo) on Discord. Beyond typical community engagement, I’ve shaped AMA discussions with concrete proposals regarding $NS burn mechanics and governance improvements - suggestions that were later incorporated into SNP#5 - SuiNS Buyback & Burn. This mirrors my professional work as an ISO lead auditor, where I’ve learned to transform abstract concepts into actionable, compliant systems.

Community Contributions

The #OwnYourIdentity campaign, which I emerged as a winner recognized my ability to make Web3 accessible, with winning threads that simplified minting a .sui name for easy sui ecosystem exploration for mainstream audiences. My offline event participation extends this mission, bridging digital and physical communities during event forums. As a compliance engineer, I’ve honed the same skill of translating technical requirements into practical implementations - a value I now bring to SuiNS governance.

Vision for the Council

I’ll leverage my dual expertise to: 1) Implement audit-style quality controls for proposals, ensuring they meet community standards before voting, and 2) Develop a governance compliance framework inspired by ISO processes, creating clear guidelines for proposal structure and accountability. My AMA-to-proposal pipeline will include standardized impact assessments like regulatory compliance checks.

Unique Value Proposition

My 2+ years as an ISO auditor provides unmatched skills in:

  • Systematic documentation (crucial for proposal tracking)
  • Neutral dispute resolution (honed through compliance investigations)
  • Risk assessment frameworks (applicable to proposal evaluation)
While new to on-chain governance, I’m rapidly mapping my compliance engineering experience to Web3 systems, already identifying parallels between ISO standards and DAO best practices.

Growth Areas

While I’m actively expanding my programming knowledge through Python studies, I recognize this as a current limitation in evaluating technical proposals. My dive system auditing background, while excellent for process rigor, requires conscious adjustment to Web3’s faster pace. I’m also learning to better coordinate scheduling conflicts after observing council activity overlaps - turning this awareness into improved time management strategies.

DAO Commitment

I’ve held $NS tokens since receiving a 153 NS airdrop, which I’ve never sold, and grown my holdings to over 1,000 NS through active trading. I’m also the owner of glencorsemarine.sui, registered in 2023 and renewed last year. My voting record reflects the same precision I apply to professional audits, and my #OwnYourIdentity threads won, hailed for its clarity and impact continues to guide the community. I bring that same balance of accuracy and accessibility to every council decision I support.

:small_blue_diamond: Your Background

In December 2022, I joined the ambassador program at Cyber and, within 3 months, managed to attract over 30 Web3 projects and convinced them to register and use the sub-product Link3 (a virtual business card platform with the ability to host various events). At the same time, I continued working with the community: translating articles and announcements, assisting in the chat with various issues, and hosting games and AMAs on Twitter and Discord in English. This led to my promotion to moderator.

Later, I was promoted to Community Manager, where I focused more on organizational tasks. For example, together with a colleague, we developed a contributor program that increased community engagement and attracted new users. Currently, I’m helping grow a community on X for a new AI-copilot.

In May 2023, I was invited to join Tabichain as the Lead Moderator and was asked to assist with marketing campaigns in the CIS region. I successfully assembled a team of 14 volunteers, arranged influencer promotions, and launched a large-scale campaign on Zealy that engaged over 100,000 users. As a result, the X account grew from 100K+ to over a million followers. Discord grew from 70K+ to over a million members. We actively hosted entertainment events and AMAs for the English-speaking community.

In April 2024, I was invited to join Wizzwoods (a Telegram-based game) as a moderator. My responsibilities included preparing and managing chats, posting announcements, and moderating the community. I also hosted AMAs on Twitter and Telegram.

From August to December 2024, I was part of the Business Development team at Cocos Studio (Web3 Games Incubator), where I worked on attracting partners for cross-tasks in the Telegram mini-app RiverLand. I increased the number of unique users by 200,000, DAU by 5,000 and MAU by 60,000

:small_blue_diamond: Your Vision

I will aim to increase community engagement, offer support, and organize various events. I plan to establish new partnerships with influencers and projects, promoting SuiNS initiatives across social media and offline meetups.

SuiNS should become a space where ideas are discussed openly, opinions are valued, and decisions are made transparently and efficiently — with no one left negatively impacted. I want to contribute to building long-term value for all $NS holders.

:small_blue_diamond: Skills & Weaknesses

Strengths:
My experience in community management has helped me develop a deep understanding of people. I’ve learned to quickly recognize tension or misunderstandings and steer conversations toward a more positive direction.
I’m good at explaining complex ideas in simple terms, and I am both patient and goal-oriented.
I work well independently and as part of a team, and I approach tasks and deadlines with responsibility.

Weaknesses:
Sometimes I’m overly demanding when it comes to quality.
I’m not a designer, so I usually collaborate with others or use AI tools for visual content.

:small_blue_diamond: DAO Participation

I have been following the development of SuiNS since 2023. I am a token and domain holder.

Why I’m Ready for Council 2.0

Aligned with SuiNS’s Core Responsibilities—reviewing proposals, educating members, managing disputes, and ensuring transparent communication—I bring demonstrated experience, useful technical tools, and a forward-thinking vision. I’m ready to scale engagement, streamline governance, and act as a continuous bridge between SuiNS and its community to strengthen and expand our ecosystem globally.

Past Community Involvement

I have been actively participating in the Sui and SuiNS community since the testnet’s early days. I have a profound passion for blockchain, driven by my interest in naming protocols and my technological curiosity. I’ve taken part in community quizzes and activities, frequently shared SuiNS developments on Twitter, and cast my vote in governance. In a couple of instances, I’ve even won!

In addition:

  • I hold two SuiNS domains (from the testnet era)
  • I’m an active $NS token holder
  • I was part of the Sui Indonesia community, helping onboard new users and raising awareness
  • I’ve contributed to bug discoveries in Solana, Cosmos, and other Layer 2 ecosystems

What I’ll Bring to the Council

  • Long-Term Community Insight: I’ve watched SuiNS evolve from the ground up and understand both user and builder needs.
  • Consistent Social Media Presence: I promote updates and key milestones of SuiNS to my audience.
  • Hands-On DAO Experience: I’m familiar with DAO tools, voting, and governance mechanics.
  • Security-Aware Thinking: I’ve found critical bugs in the past and bring careful scrutiny to proposal reviews.

Vision & Impact

I want to help position SuiNS as a trusted, widely adopted digital identity protocol within the Sui ecosystem and beyond.

My goals on the council:

  • Educate the community (especially non-technical users) on how SuiNS works
  • Encourage more feedback and transparency in governance
  • Advocate for use cases and integrations to drive adoption
  • Represent Asian and Indonesian voices in DAO governance

Strengths & Self-Awareness

Strengths

  • Deep understanding of L1/L2 ecosystems: SUI, Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos
  • Bug bounty participant and protocol tester
  • Active in governance, proposal discussion, and community calls
  • Highly engaged in social media and grassroots promotion

Growth Areas

  • I’m not a developer, but I understand blockchain architecture and collaborate closely with technical contributors
  • I haven’t hosted Twitter/X Spaces, but I’m eager to learn and grow into a public-facing role

DAO Involvement

  • Joined SuiNS during testnet
  • Own 2 SuiNS names
  • Active $NS holder & governance participant
  • Promoted SuiNS through Twitter and won community quiz events
  • Onboarded new users through community support and shilling

Supporting Info (Optional)

  • I’m a Sui Maximalist and consistently show my support for the SUI ecosystem through public engagement on [Twitter/X]

I’m excited for the opportunity to serve and grow with the SuiNS community. Thank you for reading and considering my application!

:eye: Vision
I truly believe that Latin America has enormous potential that aligns perfectly with Sui.

We are a society that adopted Web3 and crypto more out of necessity than as a hobby or for gambling.

The social and technological development of our people is naturally pushing us to seek alternatives to the traditional system — something the foundations of Ethereum, Solana, and Polkadot understood very well. That’s why they’ve invested and established a strong presence in the region.

We believe Sui can do the same — and do it even better.

My vision is to bring Sui to everyone in Latin America and make it truly accessible. Oh, and of course — in SPANISH.

:building_construction:Skills & Gaps

I’m a creative director, artist, and producer. I’ve spent my life building brands from the ground up, starting from their DNA — always with a social and community-driven approach. My focus has always been on creating things that people can truly connect with and feel part of.

For years, I’ve been working toward fully transitioning from Web2 to Web3, aiming to move away from agency work and traditional creative advertising.

My weakness is that I trust people too much and tend to believe that we’re all here to help one another.

Another challenge for me is delegating and trusting my teammates’ decisions — it’s something I’m actively learning to overcome.

I’m also learning to speak English. I’m not fluent yet, and that’s been a real struggle for me throughout these past months since I arrived in Sui.

• How long you’ve been part of SuiNS:

  • Since January 2025.
    • Whether you hold $NS / own a SuiNS name
  • Plankz.Sui | Livre.Sui | LATAM.Sui
    • Past contributions to the community
  • We’re constantly hosting XSpaces in Spanish, encouraging people to claim their Web3 identity on NS.

Our focus is not just on acquiring a domain, but on actively contributing to the creation of a more decentralized internet.

We also attended NERDconf in Mendoza, Argentina, as the only speakers representing Sui in Latin America.

There, we talked about most of the tools, brands, and products in the Sui ecosystem — including SuiNS.

Here’s a little aftermovie of what was our first IRL event proudly carrying the SUI flag :people_hugging::saluting_face:

Honestly, I believe that in LATAM we naturally have the drive to push forward no matter what.

I want our people to understand the potential that Web3 and Sui hold to help us grow — and at the same time, I want Sui to come here and recognize the talent and skill our people have.

We’re warriors — resilient, hardworking people.

Thank you so much. Sending a big hug from Argentina.
