I am not totally agree with your proposal because I don’t see any reason we wouldn’t adopt only the $NS payments (I would like to know the reasons if this is possible).
I suggested here Community Feedback Needed: Shaping SuiNS Domain Pricing Together - #43 by nik4 a model with $NS payments (related to USDC) with a burning (if it needed), in this way we will give more value to $NS.
Regardless my opinion, I will support any community’s choice.
