The community has raised concerns about domain pricing, and now it’s time to come together and find a fairer structure that works for everyone.
We’re seeking your feedback to shape a proposal that truly reflects the community’s vision. After gathering input, the proposal will be presented for discussion and put to a DAO vote.
Key topics for feedback:
A static pricing model for 3-char, 4-char, and 5-char+ domains.
The introduction of $NS as a payment option, with discounted rates for those who choose it.
Your voice matters—let’s build the future of SuiNS together!
This will be a good proposal to bring since sui has been rising and potentially even making its static only with NS token giving it more utility or a discount. Just a few ideas
I think a stable coin should be use instead since usdc is integrated already and also using $NS will be good but I think it will be better when it’s above $1 lol
I’m totally in favor of the concept. with a couple of thoughts:
The ONLY payment option should be in $NS.
$NS should be burned with each transaction.
The number of tokens required to pay for the service should be calculated as a percentage of the $NS supply. This would keep the price of the service at a static market value despite the burns, and still allow the token to increase in value.
The initial cost of the service should be lowered considerably to drive adoption and encourage price exploration. Short-term, the value of $NS will adjust based on what the market is willing to pay for the service. Long-term, token holders will be rewarded through the burn mechanism and governance priviliges.
Wny not have this discussions on discord which everyone is used to and active .
Moving to this place doesn’t seem attractive.
All the same it willbe good to use $NS for payments.
What price reductions are we looking at?
A set price in usdc. Can be paid in sui/usdc/ns. Ns get 15% discount (30% sounds high but maybe limited time offer?) and burns 5% of the ns paid. Sui or Usdc go to gov pool where we gamble on meme coins I mean grow our community/economy/ buy backs.
