I think, there isn’t need to use $SUI or USDC as currency, using only $NS (based on $USDC pricing , at front or back of the scenes SUI/USDC>NS>buy) will give a big utility to $NS another reason to exist except of governance.
$NS (in front or back of the scenes) MUST be the only currency for buying names.
I meant we can base the pricing on $USDC for example 5 char = 50 $USDC, at the purchase’s moment the buyer will pay 50 $USDC in $NS ($NS amount could be varied)

- 3 char $500/$200 (renewal)
- 4 char $100/$40 (renewal)
- 5 char $10/$4 (renewal)

DISCOUNTS
Tiers for $NS stakers (when you will add this option) for example
-10% for 1K-5k $NS stakers
-15% to 5K-50K stakers
-20% to 50K and above $NS stakers
There could also be some discounts for $NS and domain holders
After all, I think my proposal combines the upgrading of $NS utility/value, holders ($NS and domain) and stakers benefits (discounts).

can we add additional discounts for those who continue to participate in voting. for example, for those who have never participated in voting but make payments using NS, they get a 25% discount, but if the person always participates in voting, they will get an additional discount depending on how often they participate in voting. for example, every time they participate in voting, they will get an additional discount of 5% and if the person participates in voting on the next proposal, the additional discount is 5% again to 10% and so on. in my opinion we need to give additional prizes for people who are always active in participating in voting, let’s say they participate in voting for a whole year, I think a discount of 75% to 90% is enough to appreciate their contribution in voting.

A normal person only needs one domain. Once they own it, there’s no further demand, nor is there a need for discounts.
